The holidays are here, and with them comes a time of vacations, time off and increased tourism. You already know that we at Sokol Troja are here for you 24/7/365, so the holidays are “just” another operating period for us. But it is definitely a period that is more exposed than the rest of the year.
And that’s probably why TN.cz reporters set out right now, at the beginning of the holiday season, to spot-check campsites, which included our camp.

From the centre we moved to the outskirts of the metropolis, specifically to the campsite in Troja, which is mainly sought after by caravan owners. “People will forgive you anything, but never dirty sanitary facilities. This means that the cleaning lady is always here, it has to be shiny,” said Jan Falc, the manager of Camp Sokol Troja. Indeed, we saw that not only the mirrors, but also the taps and toilets are shiny.
We did not find any significant shortage in the camp. Nevertheless, the manager admitted to something. “We know that we would need to increase the capacity of the showers a bit during peak times, but we would have to have fifty of them,” Jan Falc pointed out.
Finally, we would like to remind you that since 2023 we have faster internet with better coverage of the area, as well as an online camera feed so that you can see, for example, the state of the turf, current occupancy, weather, etc.
