Autumn comes to the camp Sokol Troja (and we are open)

With the approaching autumn, you are asking us if we are open and whether it is possible, for example, to rent a long-term caravan site in the winter.

We are glad that the answer to the first question is clear – yes, we are open. Our season never ends – we are open all year round. The 2020 season was, of course, affected by government regulations and the related situation around the new coronavirus and the COVID-19 disease it caused. After all, it was a situation that few of us experienced. But we are glad that despite these complications you have found your way to us and that you are coming back to us.

As for the long-term rental of space for a caravan for the winter – yes, of course, it is also possible. Regarding parking, please contact us. We will be happy to create a tailor-made offer for your car, for you, or for your four-legged roommate. All services are completely in operation even during the winter.

We also offer long-term and short-term accommodation in rooms in our hostel right on the site of the Sokol Troja campsite. Transportation from here is completely hassle-free. In the city center you are by public transport in 15 minutes, car parking in the area have our residents free. Walking in the area brings a lot of interesting places in the city of Prague – Troja.

Below you will find current photos from autumn with us.

So do not hesitate and come, we look forward to seeing you.

Do not hesitate and come, we look forward to seeing you

Life after the coronavirus epidemic is slowly returning to normal in the Czech Republic. Thanks to that, we have been open for over a week and we are glad that you are coming back to us. The size of our campsite offers plenty of privacy and thus safe distances from other visitors. Cleaning in the facilities takes place daily, ANTI-COVID disinfection is available, toilets and showers completely renovated last year, Wi-Fi coverage throughout the complex free of charge.

The icing on the cake is the reopened restaurant in the camp/hostel area with a renovated front garden, a relatively wide range of dishes and friendly service.

Do not hesitate and come, we look forward to seeing you.

We’re open!

We are pleased to announce that as of today (May 25, 2020), the operation at the Sokol Troja camp is returning to normal tracks and, according to a government order, we can have and we are also open. We look forward to you!

And don’t forget – Prague is completely depopulated, you may never experience such a Prague without tourists. See for yourself in our gallery (photos from May 23, 2020):

You will never see a Prague nowadays

The current condition caused by the COVID-19 disease caused by a new type of coronavirus has unveiled the beauties of Prague in an unprecedented way. Places that were practically non-stop crowded with tourists from all over the world are now completely empty. Prague without tourists can once again breathe with its undeniable charm on lonely visitors. You can soak up the atmosphere of one of the oldest preserved cities in the world with a city center within the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Prague from the height of Prague Castle, Prague from the bridge deck of Charles Bridge, Prague with the most breathtaking Jewish monuments that you will not find anywhere else in the world. And yourself – without millions of tourists.

We think that this chance will never be repeated for you. Use it.

And of course – stop by our campsite or hostel. If nothing changes, according to the current government regulation, we open next week – on Monday, May 25, 2020. The lawn has been mowed, restaurant is open, you – our guests – remain.

We look forward to you.

Restaurant Sokol Troja in operation again

During this challenging coronavirus period, positive news is slow. We are very pleased that we now have one good news for you, the guests of the camp, the hostel, but also the other “Trojaks” – citizens and residents of the Prague Troja district.

The news is that after about a year, the restaurant in Sokolovna is reopened, for a time now from 12 noon to 6 pm. Serving food through the window, if you can’t see anyone, ring the bell please. The food selection is quite wide and they are tasty.

On weekdays you can come a little earlier, about 11:30.

Sincerely Petr Filip, TJ Sokol Troja
