In the period from November 4 to 15, 2024, a complete reconstruction of the access road to the campsite and hostel area will take place. Although the road from the main road to the gate to our premises is only about 25 m long, the external contractor reports that it will be completely impassable at this time.

We believe that the work will not take the whole time and at the same time that for a certain period the passage may be allowed. But this is without guarantee. We have kept the reservation active, but please be aware that it will not be possible to enter the area during the specified time. The passage should remain.

If you want to be sure and don’t want to risk problems with entering the area, we can recommend you to stay at the nearby Herzog campsite. The campsite is in the same location, on the same street, but it is smaller. We therefore recommend that you book your stay as soon as possible.

The holidays are here, and with them comes a time of vacations, time off and increased tourism. So far, the news in 2023 is in the technological spirit. After the recent launch of the online camera on the website, we have another novelty of a similar technological nature. But today’s world cannot do without technology. So we are happy to announce a change in internet connection technology and an increase in its speed.

Until now, the operation of the camp and the hostel was via one internet line. The camp area (area) now has a separate line with a speed of 100 Mbit/s, while the Sokol Troja hostel was separated from the operation of the camp and also runs on its own separate line with a speed of 100 Mbit/s. With this measure, the connection speed of the entire area reached roughly five times the previous value. According to initial experience, this stopped problems with some applications. For example, you can use the WhatsApp application to call home to your country for free, you can watch online broadcasts on TV, listen to online radio in the language of your country, etc. without any problems.

We believe that even this change will contribute to your better experience of staying at the Sokol Troja campsite and you will be happy to come back to us.

In addition to the fact that our Sokol Troja campsite is open 24/7/365, which you all very well know, we have prepared a big user improvement for you for the upcoming 2023 season.

Winter is coming to an end and if you go skiing in the winter, you know what it’s like when you want to go somewhere and you don’t know how much snow there is, if the cable cars are running, etc. You need to have a look to operator’s webcams to see what’s the situation at the location, the weather, how many visitors are there, whether the operator is describing the situation and portraying better conditions than they actually have etc.

You often ask us if our campsite is open at the end of the year – on Christmas holidays, New Year’s Eve and New Year. And we still answer in the same way, as in other years and as in other events. 🙂

As is our standard, we are open non-stop 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. If there is no one at the reception at the time of your arrival, you can park in any place, connect to the electricity and you can use the showers, toilets and all services for caravans.

The reception is always open in the morning and in the evening, the current times are posted at the reception. We will carry out your check-in and registration when we meet at the reception.
