As every year, we would like to introduce in spring what has been happening at our Sokol Troja campsite, what new things we are preparing, and also what is coming up in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.
We have been receiving an increasing number of questions about both common and less common operational matters related to the campsite.
So let’s get to it – simple, brief, and clear:
Are you open in 2026?
Yes. Our campsite has been open since 2019, with the exception of the COVID quarantine period, meaning it has been under our management for seven years. We are open 24/7/365. In practice, this means you can arrive at any time, park wherever you prefer, and then come to register at the reception. If we are not at the reception at the time of your arrival, we will meet you there the next morning to complete your check-in.
Is it possible to pay by card or mobile phone?
Yes. The reception is equipped with a terminal that allows payments by card and mobile phones. There have been no long-term issues with card payments, and we accept all major cards such as VISA, Mastercard, Google Pay, Apple Pay. Cash payments are of course also possible; we accept CZK and EUR.

Have you increased prices for 2026?
No. Prices remain the same; we have not increased them since 2024. That’s good news, right? 😉 So go ahead and make your reservation now!
Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes. Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire campsite, and you will receive the password upon check-in at the reception.
Is a washing machine and dryer available?
Yes. Please ask at the reception if you would like to do laundry.
Electrical connections available on site?
Yes. Across the campsite, you will find green and grey distribution boxes with sockets that are either blue caravan-style (three-pin) or standard Czech sockets. We recommend bringing adapters and/or a sufficiently long extension cable (at least 25 m).

Do you have free place on Easter?
Easter falls at the beginning of April this year and is traditionally a busy period with many reservations. If you plan to arrive between March 30 and April 6, 2026, your reservation must be confirmed by us, or please verify it by phone. Unconfirmed reservations will not be accepted.
Is there possibility to print something?
Yes. The reception of course has a multifunctional color printer, please ask for printing at the reception (e.g. with a USB flash card or send an e-mail to info@campsokotroja.cz).
And finally, here is a small tip for you. Did you know that the writer Dan Brown set the story of his latest book The Secret of All Secrets to Prague? Based on the book, Netflix is also expected to film a movie in Prague in autumn 2026, so we invite you to come and experience the atmosphere of the story…
Renowned symbology professor Robert Langdon arrives in Prague to attend a lecture by leading noetics researcher Katherine Solomon. He has recently begun a romantic relationship with the scientist. Katherine is about to publish a controversial book—one that reveals alarming insights into the nature of human consciousness and may challenge beliefs humanity has held for centuries. However, their stay in Prague is disrupted…
So come visit before Prague increases the tourist accommodation fee, which is already being discussed here.
We look forward to seeing you.
